BDAC represents and provides services to the Dja Dja Wurrung community (Jaara people) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents living in the Dja Dja Wurrung boundaries.

The Dja Dja Wurrung country includes the regional city of Bendigo, where 1,851 Aboriginal people live, and the surrounding districts of Boort, Redesdale and Creswick.

In collaboration with the rest of the LMARG group, BDAC are committed to supporting indigenous self-determination within their community. BDAC aim to provide excellent health services, improve quality of life, and provide career pathways for Aboriginal people.
